AINOW Mobile

Install and sign in

How to get the AINOW Mobile invitation from your AINOW contact, install the app on iOS or Android, sign in with your Microsoft work account, choose your organization, and understand the permissions the app asks for.

Updated 2026-09-05

AINOW Mobile is distributed to invited testers today, so you start with an invitation from your AINOW contact rather than a public store search. Once the app is installed you sign in with the same Microsoft work account you use for Zoe on the web, pick your organization if you belong to more than one, and you are in.

Get your invitation

Ask your AINOW contact to add you as a tester. Give them the email address you want the invitation sent to — on iPhone that has to be the address on your Apple Account, and on Android the address on the Google account signed in to the Play Store. An invitation sent to the wrong address cannot be redeemed.

You will receive one of two invitations:

  • iPhone — a TestFlight invitation. TestFlight is Apple's free app for testing pre-release apps.
  • Android — a Google Play internal testing link.

Install on iPhone

  1. Install TestFlight from the App Store if you do not already have it.
  2. Open the invitation email on the iPhone and tap the redeem link, or open TestFlight and enter the invitation code.
  3. Tap Install next to AINOW.
  4. Open AINOW from your home screen.

Install on Android

  1. Open the internal testing link from your invitation on the Android phone, signed in to the Google account the invitation was sent to.
  2. Tap the link that accepts the testing invitation, then Download it on Google Play.
  3. Install AINOW, then open it.

AINOW Mobile is a phone app in portrait orientation. It is not built for tablets.

Sign in with your Microsoft work account

  1. Open AINOW. The first screen shows the AINOW mark and a single Sign in with Microsoft button.
  2. Tap it. Your phone opens a secure system browser window on the Microsoft sign-in page — this is deliberate, and it is how Microsoft Entra ID expects a mobile app to sign you in.
  3. Enter your work account and complete whatever your organization requires, such as multi-factor authentication.
  4. Approve the sign-in. The browser closes on its own and returns you to AINOW.

Use the same work account you use for Zoe on the web. You cannot create an AINOW account yourself: your organization provisions it, and an account from a personal Microsoft address will not find an organization to sign in to.

Your session is stored in your phone's secure keystore and refreshes quietly in the background, so you should rarely have to sign in again on the same device.

Choose your organization

If your account belongs to exactly one AINOW organization, the app goes straight to your workspace.

If you belong to more than one, a Choose your organization list appears. Tap the one you want. Your choice is remembered for next time, and you can change it later — tap the organization tile at the top left of the screen, then Switch organization.

If you see Your organization isn't set up yet, your account signed in successfully but no AINOW organization is bound to it. See Troubleshooting.

Permissions the app asks for

AINOW asks for two permissions, both only when they are actually needed, and the app keeps working if you say no.

Notifications. The first time you land in your workspace, AINOW shows a short explanation — "Turn on notifications?" — before the system permission prompt appears. Notifications tell you when an approval is waiting for you or a workflow run finishes. They carry a title and a link into the app, never the content of the record. If you tap Not now, everything else in the app still works; you simply have to open the app to see what is waiting. See Notifications.

Microphone. Asked the first time you start a voice call, because a call streams your voice to the assistant in real time. Decline it and the app stays fully usable for typing. See Chat and voice.

The app requests no location, contacts, calendar, photos, or files, and it never uses the camera. If your iPhone shows a camera notice in the App Store privacy information, that is because the real-time call framework the assistant is built on could carry video; AINOW calls are voice-only.

What you can do next

Once you are in, you land on one screen: a voice orb with a message box under it. Start there with Chat and voice, or read how approvals reach you in Approvals on the go.

Which capabilities you see depends on the modules your organization has enabled and the systems it has connected, so a colleague's app may offer more or less than yours.
