Gmail mailboxes for your email assistant
Google Workspace customers can connect a shared Gmail mailbox to an assistant persona, so mail sent to that address is answered automatically, alongside the existing support for Microsoft 365 mailboxes.
Choose Gmail as the provider when you create or edit an email channel in the customer portal, then connect the mailbox using a Google Workspace service account with domain-wide delegation. Everything else about email channels is unchanged: the same persona instructions, integration permissions, guardrails and approval rules apply. Microsoft 365 mailboxes keep working exactly as before.
